What is the Tony Elumelu Foundation?
The Tony Elumelu Foundation was started in 2010 by Tony Elumelu, a successful businessman from Nigeria. He wanted to help young people in Africa build businesses, make money, and create jobs for others. His goal is to make Africa stronger by supporting small businesses.
How Does the TEF Programme Help?
The TEF Entrepreneurship Programme gives money, training, and advice to people who want to start businesses. It has already helped more than 18,000 people all over Africa!
What Do Entrepreneurs Get?
If someone is chosen for the program, they receive:
• $5,000 to Start a Business – Free money to help begin their dream.
• Business Training – A 12-week online course to learn important skills.
• A Mentor – An experienced business person to give advice.
• Connections – A chance to meet other business owners and investors.

Many people who got help from TEF have grown their businesses and helped their communities. Some started farms, made new technology, opened hospitals, or designed clothes. These businesses have created jobs and made Africa stronger!
